According to FBI estimates, there is a violent crime committed in North America every seven seconds. Violence and criminal behavior is on the rise both on the streets, and in our schools. The Canadian Martial Arts Academy is here to train people to be safe, have fun, and stay fit in an ever troubled, and turbulent world.

• board & brick breaking (hammers are more effective, & in the long run, cheaper)
• pompous or arrogant attitudes, & fluffy, fancy titles (these people deserve to be hit)
• screaming in different languages (you wouldn't understand what we said anyway)
• levitation from a meditative position (murky travel laws, & awkward regulation)
• throwing energy balls or freeze rays at an attacker (environmentally unfriendly)
• how to take full impact punches & kicks without getting hurt (seems better to learn how to not get hit)
• how to throw people across the room without touching them (Jedi mind tricks only works in the movies)

• non-violent crisis intervention methods (learn to think instead of react)                      
• bully & street proofing skills (learn to be safe without fighting back)     
• realistic self-defense for the modern world (tried, proven, & practical self-defense for all ages)      
• fitness & health facilities & programs (a gym on location for all students)       
• fully graded martial arts system (escaping, striking, locking, throwing, ground defense & weapons training)
• confidence & focus development (scholastic improvement)
• relaxed, enjoyable, informal classes (aiming for a quick paced learning system)
